AORA
Aora is an ancient island nation, known for its culture but also its long history of internal warfare and strife. Composed of 49 kingdoms, it is ruled by an elite class of warriors and clerics known as the vandu. The vandu are imbued with the powers of ii, which enable to them to accomplish supernatural feats such as creating fire, healing wounds, and communicating thoughts across great distances.
Key kingdoms of Aora:
Al-asa - kingdom on the southern island of Aora and native land of Zoma Aranda.
Er-Markara - kingdom to the south of Taran.
Fatana-Mei - one of the oldest kingdoms of Aora and known as "The Great Stone City." It is protected by high stone walls and is home to the Circle of Sages and most of the great scholars of the land. Nearby lie the Stones of Divination
Harama - Northermost kingdom of Aora, set high upon the cliffs and well-protected. Beyond Harama lie the Northern Ices.
Ko-karam
Taran - Located on the Grey River and surrounded by hills, Taran is a relatively wealthy and peaceful kingdom that relies on its trade of Shran wood and local herbs.
Wa-alarn
ONLAI
A southern land across the sea from Aora, Onlai is hot and crowded. It is ruled by a greedy and all-powerful king who keeps his iron hold over the people. Onlai has had a history of warfare with the southern kingdoms of Aora, who often invade the waters near Onlai.
