Kith-sei Ra, prince of a minor kingdom in the land of Aora, is in the midst of driving away a local warlord when he is debilitated by a serious wound. In order to heal the wound--which seems to be imbued with a mysterious spirit, he must seek the Sage Sara-kri. Meanwhile, an upstart prince named Zoma Aranda is surging across Aora with his army, claiming the right of One Ruler of the land. But he may not be the only one with that claim.
