Art Yard is opening a new space in Osaka--it's called Art Yard Studio. The purpose is to provide a space for bands, photographers, and artists to shoot their works, with an emphasis on music videos. The building we are entering was built in 1963 (great year for music by the way).
See the floor plan (Art Yard is on the 4th floor):
The opening is on Sunday, March 29. As part of the event, we will be shooting music videos for miette-one and naivepop or petifool on the day from 1-5:30, and then the opening party is from 6:30. If you happen to live in Osaka come on down!
Also, for the first time in over a year, Art Yard will be printing its magazine, Art Yard Informer. 10,000 of these babies will be printed and distributed throughout Japan (mostly Tokyo and Kansai areas). On the cover this time is the venerable American band Cake, and there will be interviews with Marie Digby, Qemists (from Ninja Tunes), and Takeshi Nakatsuka.
