Art Yard
A music/art/movies magazine that is distributed for free in Japan. Past interviewees include Underworld, Coldcut, Spankrock, Little Creatures, Sono Sion, and Hideki Kaji. Published by Akio Takimoto and edited by Haruo Takimoto and Owen Austin.
Metropolis
An information mag that is distributed in Tokyo. Weekly updates on local events, cool clubs and anything of interest to gaijin. It's one of the best English-language mags for what's going on in Tokyo.
Japan Today
Related newsite that has daily updates on news in Japan. Good to browse through once a day to keep informed. The reader comments are part of the fun.
Spinshell TV
A video-based site that features lifestyle info on Tokyo, but also individual clips from musicians, artists and businessmen. A place for the foreign community to express themselves. This site is constantly growing.
