Musician living in Tokyo. 

I have moved back and forth a lot between Japan and America. In terms of how many years, it has started to look pretty even. But it won't be much longer before my years in Japan grow longer. Here is an attempted record:

Currently I have a band called The Pale Brood that plays folk/pop music around a lot of the pubs in Tokyo. We are recording some songs that will hopefully be out there soon. You can see our homepage here:

I have also been a contributor of Art Yard informer, which was started by Akio and Haruo Takimoto. In it we interviewed artists like Cold Cut, Sono Sion, Underworld, and Maximo Park. We are putting out the magazine for the first time in over a year this April 2009!

Some of my favorite authors are: 

George Orwell, Franz Kafka, Delmore Schwartz, Aldous Huxley, Charles Bukowski, Hermann Hesse, Kurt Vonnegut, Federico Garcia Lorca, James Joyce, Samuel Beckett
